Rob Herring (rugby union)

Rob Herring (born 27 April 1990) is an Irish rugby union player for Ulster in the Pro14 and Heineken Cup. He plays as a hooker.

Born in Cape Town, South Africa, Herring hales from one of South Africa's oldest and well known schools, South African College Schools (SACS) and also qualifies to play for Ireland. In January 2014, Herring was included in the provisional 44 man Ireland squad for the 2014 Six Nations Championship. Herring debuted for Ireland in June 2014 coming off the bench in a tour match against Argentina.
