Riri Kōda (倖田李梨, Kōda Riri) aka Riri Kouda, Kiri Kōda, Miri Kōda (Japanese: 倖田美梨, Hepburn: Kōda Miri) and Miki Iwashita (岩下美季, Iwashita Miki) is a Japanese AV idol and pink film actress.
Life and career
Riri Kōda, who makes her home in Tokyo, was born on March 1, 1974. Kōda has had an extensive career as an adult video (AV) actress; the Japanese video outlet DMM lists 200 DVDs available under her name in mid-2010. Much of Kōda's career has focused on the "mature woman" or "madam" (熟女, jukujo) genre which has been part of Japanese porn since the mid-1990s and was popularized in adult video by director Goro Tameike. Kōda has appeared in several videos for "mature woman" specialist studio Madonna and has been directed by Goro Tameike in videos for his company.
Kōda has also appeared in several pink films and in 2007, the Kansai region Pinky Ribbon Awards gave her a prize for Outstanding Performance by an Actress and named her the Best Supporting Actress for the following year. For 2008, Kōda won the Best Actress award for her work in director Yutaka Ikejima's Chō inran: yareba yaruhodo iikimochi (超いんらん やればやるほどいい気持ち) at the Pink Grand Prix.
In March 2010, Kōda represented satellite adult video TV broadcaster Paradise TV at the annual Adult Broadcasting Awards where their production Japan's Number One Lewd, Beautiful Mature Lady Decided At Last! starring Kōda and several other actresses won the Best HD Program Award. In her acceptance speech, Kōda said “I have now been reassured that people enjoy works featuring mature women”. At the 2010 Pink Grand Prix ceremony, Koda received another pink film Best Actress award for her appearance in Tetsuya Takehora's Shiofuki hanayome no seihakusho.
