Riffat Manasia Oberhaus

Riffat Manasia is an American expert on social research methods in complex environments and (post) conflict. She is an expert on Afghanistan and the Afghanistan-Pakistan region plus Syria. She is the founding director of MRA, a private research organization specializing in surveys and field-based quantitative and qualitative research. She has designed and led several cited but often limited distributed nationwide surveys in Afghanistan and in-depth empirical research within Syria pertaining to the conflict and governance.
