Ride for Hope is a US coast to coast relay cycle ride which takes place over 10 days. Teams of riders cycle for 50 miles each day from Sausalito, CA to Annapolis, MD covering a total of 3080 miles.

The ride is organised to raise funds for the orphans in Africa from the AIDS and HIV pandemic who are supported by Christ's Hope International. The organiser and leader for the ride Tim Patton is a serious cyclist who started the event after having been to Africa and seeing the plight of the orphans there himself.

'Ride for Hope' takes place in June 2009, 7th to the 17th and has so far raised $100,000 in support for the orphans.

As the teams cycle through Chicago on June 13, people are invited to join a 50 miles cycle to show support for the cause.
