Ricky Junior Naputi (June 20, 1973 – November 10, 2012) was a morbidly obese man who died from obesity-related conditions in his apartment in Guam at 39 years old. He was 400 kilos (900 pounds) at his peak weight and the TV network TLC followed him for their documentary 900 Pound Man: The Race Against Time. He was featured in a Health-Medical documentary entitled The Man Who Ate Himself To Death, published by Channel 5 in 2013, which was narrated by Great British Menu voice over artist Wendy Lloyd.
Early life
Naputi's weight ballooned since he was a teenager, when he developed an addiction to food. He was an average sized child.
