Richard Rosson (stage name Rubber Ritchie) is a British balloon artist, retired contortionist, actor and yoga teacher . He has appeared on a variety of television shows, including Channel 4 News, The Richard and Judy Show, and the Saturday morning children's show Dick and Dom in Da Bungalow. Rosson has also appeared in features in The Daily Mail, The Guardian, and TNT magazine, among others.

Rosson has appeared in adverts and trailers for various products. In early 2006, Rosson acted as stunt double in a Walker's Crisps advert for ex-England footballer and BBC presenter Gary Lineker. He also shot scenes as Avery the Death Eater for the blockbuster movie Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.

Live performances

Ritchie Rosson has been working as an entertainer across the world for 20 years in circus, music, theatre, television and film. Ritchie was a world famous contortionist known as Rubber Ritchie. Now Ritchie performs mostly at family events, birthday parties and corporate events with magic, balloon modelling, comedy and puppets. He has appeared many times on television on shows such as Richard and Judy, The One Show and Britain s Got Talent. He has been in television adverts and print campaigns for Walkers Crisps, Kwik Fit, Easyjet and many others. Ritchie had a part in the film Harry Potter and The Goblet of Fire as The Death Eater Avery. Contortionist Ritchie Rosson was formerly known as Rubber Ritchie and was one of Britain’s best known contortionists, performing all across the UK as well as Europe, and Asia. He appeared regularly on television in shows such as Richard and Judy, Dick and Dom in Da Bungalow, The One Show and Channel 4 News. He no longer performs his contortion act but still appears from time to time in promotions and television working flexible hours and trying to make ends meet.

Becoming "Rubber Ritchie"

Ritchie is also a bass player and has performed of music shows playing rock and funk music. He studied Politics at University College Northampton (now University of Northampton), during which time he developed his contortion skills. He developed his contortionist act out of a mixture of advanced yoga postures and Mr Bean style clowning. Rubber Ritchie is also a Yoga teacher.
