Richard Moat (born 8 September 1954) has been the Chief Executive Officer of eir, the ex-incumbent and largest telecommunications company in Ireland, since November 2014.

He is the former Deputy Chief Executive and Chief Financial Officer of Everything Everywhere Ltd, the leading mobile operator in the UK. He was formerly the Managing Director of T-Mobile UK Ltd, the Chief Executive Officer of Orange Romania SA, the leading mobile operator in Romania, the Chief Executive Officer of Orange Denmark A/S, and the Chief Executive Officer of Orange Thailand Ltd.
