Richard LaValliere (February 20, 1953-February 7, 2012) was a Milwaukee-born punk musician and founding member of such bands as The Oil Tasters, The Haskels, Scorpio Thunderbolt, Triple Forbidden Taboo and Polkafinger. He was renowned for his unique vocal style and songwriting, humorous and clever lyrics and stage persona. A multi-instrumentalist, he played guitar, bass, keyboards and drums but is best-remembered for the "Egg Bass," a Fender P-Bass adorned with plastic fried eggs.
