Ria Popovic (Serbian Cyrillic: Ria PopoviŃ› ; born 6 May 1992), known as Ria Popovic is a Serbian football defender, currently playing for Florida in Florida. She previously played for Millwall Lioness, London, UK before heading to the United States for a Soccer Scholarship.
She has been selected by the Serbian U18 national team for two training camps. Popovic was picked up from Polk State College, FL, by the University of Northwestern Ohio, OH, where she played for one year and decided to transfer after being picked up by Webber International, FL.
Personal life
Ria was born in London, her father is from Serbia, Kraljevo, and her mother is from England, but her family also has Italian roots.
