Biography

Lloyd hails from Porthcawl, Glamorgan. Lloyd came fifth overall at the 2007 Junior Tour of Wales. He was selected as a member of British Cycling's Olympic Development Program. He also rode the Tour of Britain in 2008, stepping in as a replacement for Ben Greenwood. Lloyd rode another year for Rapha Condor in 2009 but moved to Pendragon in 2010 and ended the year representing Wales in the Commonwealth Games in India. In 2011 he finished 15th place in the Cintron Tour, Mallorca, but took the rest of the year off after being hit by a vehicle while out on a training ride. 2012 saw Lloyd's return to racing with the Metaltek-Scott cycle team. In December 2014 Lloyd was announced as part of the NFTO line-up for the 2015 season.
