Rhosddu United YFC is a football club for boys and girls between the ages of 7 and 16. It was founded in 1994 by Club man Andy Elliott who celebrated his 20th year managing last season. The club take part in the Wrexham & District Youth Football League.

In 2014 Rhosddu United YFC under 16's celebrated winning their first ever cup final with the W&DYFL Charisma Cup where they beat finalists Marford and Gresford Albion YFC under 16's 4-2 in normal time at Clywedog Park, home to Brickfield Rangers Football Club.

The club has had a lot of success in recent years and has a strong link with Wrexham Football Club and numerous players have been scouted to sign and play for their Centre of Excellence, these players include Kalvin Williams now of Cefn Druids, Josh Jones now of Connah's Quay Nomads, Peter Hope Now of Bala Town, and trio Oliver Parker, Karl Hamlington, and Alex Baines who now play for Airbus UK Broughton.

There are many well-respected volunteers who work for the club, these include Andrew Edwards, Rusty Edwards, Dawn Elliott, and Glyn Roberts.

Matty Jones was the last player in the under 16's squad to score a league goal for them in the 4-3 victory over Marford and Gresford Albion YFC at The Gravel Pit Stadium.
