Rhodesian constitutional referendum, 1969

A double referendum was held in Rhodesia on 20 June 1969. Voters were asked whether they approved of a new constitution and the declaration of a republic. Both proposals were approved by voters. The country was subsequently declared a republic on 2 March 1970.
