Rex Mathes, or the Teen Center, formerly known as Clover Hills Elementary School, is currently used by home-schooled kids of all ages, as well as by the children of Stilwell Junior High. Located in West Des Moines, Iowa, Rex Mathes School is populated with homeschoolers on Tuesday and Thursday mornings and during those afternoons. On all weekday evenings, teenagers from neighboring Stilwell Junior High School whose parents cannot pick them up immediately will go to the Teen Center and participate in activities, such as watching movies or playing recreational sports.
