The restinga antwren (Formicivora littoralis) is a endangered species of bird in the family Thamnophilidae. It is endemic to coastal shrubland in eastern Rio de Janeiro in Brazil, and is threatened by habitat loss. It closely resembles the Serra Antwren of the subspecies interposita, and recent morphological and vocal analysis suggests the restinga antwren should be included in the serra antwren. This species has been down-listed from Critically Endangered to Endangered on the 2012 IUCN Red List of Threatened Species, because of a recent range extension.
