Renewable Energy Solutions for the Mediterranean (RES4MED) is a non-profit Association established in 2012.

The goal of this Association is to promote renewable energy in the Southern and Eastern Mediterranean Countries in order to satisfy local needs.

RES4MED is engaged in the following key areas:

  • Socio economic benefits
  • Training and capacity building
  • Partners Network

    RES4MED is involved in an International Network to support leading MENA Institutions. These include the Union for the Mediterranean (UfM), MEDREG, Med-TSO, International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA), IRENA Coalition for Action, International Energy Agency, RESN21, Sustainable Development Solutions Network, Sonelgaz, RCREEE, OME, INSTITUT DE RECHERCHE EN ENERGIE SOLAIRE ET ENERGIES NOUVELLES (IRESEN), SIEM, ADEREEE, New and Renewable Energy Authority (NREA), Egypt National Cleaner Production Centre (ENCPC), Real Instituto Elcano, National Energy Research Center (NERC), Lebanese Center for Energy Conservation (LCEC), National Technical University (NTUA), Fraunhofer, Centro de Investigaciones Energéticas, Medioambientales y Tecnológicas (CIEMAT) and Istituto per la competitività (I-com).
