The reproduction of Croatian currency is regulated by the Croatian National Bank.

Rules

The Bank issued an act regarding this matter on February 28, 2002. The decisions most relevant to reproductions of Croatian banknotes are listed in Article 10, titled Reproduction, which states the following:

1. The Croatian National Bank owns the copyright on banknotes it publishes. 2. The Croatian National Bank allows reproduction of banknotes it has published in the following cases: 3. The Croatian National Bank must [explicitly] approve any other way of reproduction. 4. The approval for reproductions which meet the conditions described in paragraphs 1 and 2 may be withdrawn in case of violation of unalienable moral rights of the authors of the banknotes' design.
