Renowned Films is a TV production company founded by long term BBC Radio 1 presenter Duane Jones, and producers Max Welch and Tim Withers. Renowned Films is part of the larger entity Renowned Group which encompasses music Management and Publishing.
Renowned Films has produced hundreds of hours of digital and TV content, including one of London Live’s first commissions, F2 Kicks Off (16x30’) along with Pranksterz on ITV2 Winner’s Circle (11x30’) for Sky; branded content series including FCUK following Olympic Gold medallist Anthony Joshua, as well as work for global brands Beats by Dr. Dre, Selfridges, Adidas and Nike.
In 2015, Channel 4 took an equity stake in Renowned Films as part of its £20 million Growth Fund, which has seen the company grow and establish itself as one of the fastest growing indie production companies in the UK.
