René Patrick Burakowski (24.12.1949–present) is a Polish-German investor, entrepreneur, horse breeder, art collector, and philanthropist.
He was born in Nowa Cerkiew [ˈnɔva ˈt͡sɛrkʲɛf] (German: Neukirch) in the administrative district of Gmina Chojnice, within Chojnice County, Pomeranian Voivodeship, in northern Poland.
He is the founder of: Association of Equestrian Organizations in northern Poland Kaszubskie Stowarzyszenie Promowania Sportów Konnych, two private stud farms of Holsteiner horse,. Horses are trained especially for Equestrian events by his son Marcin Burakowski. The most known horses e.g. Bella Donna 106, Bluegrey Versailles du Bust, Bella Bellissima, taking part in world championship by a few jumping athlete and his granddaughter Leoni Retzlaff.
In international business R. Burakowski is from 1987 - (Warenhandelsagentur) in Rendsburg, 1992 Radbur in Somonino (joint venture). He is founder of a few companies in Europe with headquarters in Poland and offices in London eg. an international cooperation house in plastic recycling FDC, and Recycling Center.
According to the "Album" book, Burakowski is known as a connoisseur of modern art (eg. Gagik Parsamian, Ryszard Stryjec,Jerzy Srzednicki, Stasys Eidrigevičius,Ignacy Bulla and many more) and great philanthropist.
