Reindeer Valley (54°18′S 36°20′W) is a valley between Godthul, on the north coast of South Georgia, and Sandebugten, in Cumberland East Bay. Surveyed by the SGS in the period 1951-57, and so named by the United Kingdom Antarctic Place-Names Committee (UK-APC) because, in 1909, Norwegian whalers introduced reindeer into this part of the island.
