The Red Youth Front ("RYF") is a communist youth organization that is based in Quebec and Toronto and advocates socialism, abolition of social classes, protection of the environment, repression of racism, sexism and homophobia, youth rights and worker's rights. The RYF Manifesto begins by asserting that it is "a group for all those who are tired of being ignored, of getting robbed by the employers and being told what to do by the government, schools and police. We're sick of this rotten society which has nothing better to offer us than minimum wage at Tim Hortons, McDonald's or video clubs!".

Their stated goal is the creation of a Socialist state in Canada, and they refuse the use of electoral processes to achieve this goal, believing them to be useless: "We reject the electoral farce because it offers absolutely no real hope of change for the oppressed people." They specifically draw likenesses in their manifesto between their organization and the Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist) as well as the 2005 civil unrest in France.

Manifesto and Platform

While the RYF has a two pages long manifesto advocating a communist revolution in Canada, its platform as a political entity is listed in five points, which they expound on in greater detail.

1. The RYF struggles for the abolition of social classes.

2. The RYF is revolutionary and socialist.

3. The RYF supports all anti-imperialist struggles.

4. The RYF opposes racism, sexism, homophobia, narrow-minded nationalism and all forms of discrimination based on age.

5. The RYF wants to fight environmental destruction

Their manifesto ends with the lines: Down with the old capitalist regime! Down with the imperialist world order! Long live the Red Youth Front! Long live the socialist revolution!
