The Red River krait (Bungarus slowinskii) is a species of venomous snake in the family Elapidae. Based on the current knowledge on this rare snake, it is endemic to Vietnam, although it is suspected that it might occur also in Laos.

The specific name slowinskii honors Joseph Bruno Slowinski, an American herpetologist who died from a krait bite.
