Recalled to Life is the fifth studio album from punk rock band The Deadweights. The album was released February 11, 1997 on Reprise Records, almost 10 years after the band's previous release. The album was the first since the band's 1995 reunion. It was produced by Daniel Rey (The Ramones, The Misfits) and co-produced by the band. The title is a reference to the novel A Tale of Two Cities. "Opium of the Masses" and "In the Modern Era of Chaos" were released as singles.
