Raymond S. Nickerson is an American psychologist and author. He is Research Professor at the Tufts University in the Psychology Department. He has authored several books and is the founding editor of The Journal of Experimental Psychology: Applied.

Among the topics he has written about are confirmation bias and the boy or girl paradox.
