Rathabidi Geleyaru is a cultural organisation from Udupi, Karnataka. It was established in the year 1980 by a few like-minded liberal individuals, who yearned to express themselves through cultural-academic activities, and thereby also maintain the secular space in Udupi. They have been also active in the field of theatre and have been putting up theatre performances almost every year. As the Organisation celebrated its 30th year recently, they performed a play 'Mistake', an adaptation of four stories from Saadat Hasan Manto. The play was directed by Dr. Shripada Bhat of Sirsi. In 2012-13, the troupe played an improvisation of the play Sangya-Balya, directed by Dr. Shripada Bhat too. In 2014, Geleyaru have taken up Chandrashekhara Kambara's 'Tukrana Kanasu', directed by Mr. Yash Shetty. Santhosh Shetty Hiriadka and Santhosh Nayak Patla play the lead dual role of Tukra. On 21 September 2014, they presented the first show at Ravindra Mantapa, MGM College, Udupi.
