The raspy river stingray, mosaic stingray or arraia (Potamotrygon scobina) is a species of freshwater fish in the Potamotrygonidae family. This stingray is endemic to the mid and lower Amazon basin (Manaus to BelĂ©m) in Brazil. It reaches up to 69.1 cm (2.27 ft) in disc width and 132.5 cm (4.35 ft) in total length. It is fairly common, but threatened by habitat loss.
