Raramuri Criollo cattle

Raramuri Criollo Cattle are, like other Criollo cattle, a biotype or landrace cattle whose specific genetic lineage is linked to the Andalusian region of southern Spain and parts of north Africa. These cattle have sustained life in the harsh arid environment of Copper Canyon, Mexico and are suspected to have adapted over the past 500 years since their introduction to America by early Spanish settlers to the harsh desert climates of Mexico and the south-western United States.
