Ramamohana Brahmachari was a yoga teacher who lived in a cave in Himalayan mountains near Manasa Sarovar, Tibet along with his wife and three children. He taught more 700 asanas to his pupils including Tirumalai Krishnamacharya of Mysore though he was said to have mastered 7000. Krishnamacharya claimed that he stayed with Ramamohana Brahmachari for seven years in his cave and studied various aspects of yoga, including stopping of pulse and a text called the Yoga Koranta. Ramamohana Brahmachari taught the therapeutic use of yoga. He also taught the yoga sutras.
Ramamohana Brahmachari taught yoga to Krishmacharya up to 1918, when the latter left for his native place Mysore and taught yoga to hundreds of people.
