RamaKoti is a tradition of writing the name of the Lord Shriram in a book for 1 crore times. It is also called as Likhita Japa (Chanting by writing). It is an effective spiritual practice according to Hindu beliefs because many of our senses are engaged simultaneously during this practice.

Though this practice is followed by elderly people, any one with interest and devotion can do this. After finishing writing, the notebooks are submitted to Sri Rama temple or any other temple where they will be preserved by the authorities.
