Rajat Majumdar

Rajat Majumdar is a leader of Trinamool Congress and a former director general of the West Bengal Police. He was arrested by CBI in connection with the Saradha scam. A 1971 batch IPS officer Majumdar had earlier served as Inspector general (Railways).After retirement in 2008 Majumdar joined as a security advisor of Saradha Group. He also joined TMC and was made vice president of the party.
