Radiohuset is a building at Östermalm in Stockholm which is the main building and offices of Sveriges Radio. It is in Förrådsbacken street at Oxstiernsgatan next to the TV-huset and close to Filmhuset, next to Gärdets sports place. In the Radiohuset programs are produced and then broadcast through Sveriges Radios national, and also abroad through Radio Sweden. In 2008 the local radio for Stockholm, called radio Stockholm at the time, moved to the Radiohuset from their previous studios at Kungsholmen. The building was projected in 1955; the architects for the building were Erik Ahnborg and Sune Lindström. Work on the building started in 1958 and the move in for the radio happened on 22 September 1962.
