Radio Eden was a 24-hour radio network that primarily focussed on Christian programming. It was a satellite-only digital radio service based in Wombwell, near Barnsley in the UK. Programming consisted of a repeating schedule of pre-recorded material from different Christian and secular broadcast sources.
History
Radio Eden launched on satellite Eurobird 9A covering Europe and parts of the Middle East and North Africa in November 2008.
In February 2010 the station expanded further into the Middle East, Africa and into Asia with C band coverage on the Intelsat 10 satellite.
In June 2010 further coverage was added via the Galaxy 19 satellite over North America.
In July 2010 the station joined the Glorystar programme guide.
The station closed in June 2014.
