Quinebaug Lake State Park, also known as Quinebaug Lake State Park Scenic Reserve, is a public recreation area covering 181 acres (73 ha) in the town of Killingly, Connecticut, offering opportunities for fishing and non-motorized boating. The state park's central feature is Wauregan Reservoir, a lake of natural origin that has had its area and depth increased by a dam at its outlet. The park is managed by the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection.

Activities and amenitiesEdit

Activities center on 88-acre (36 ha) Wauregan Reservoir, also known as Quinebaug Pond and Quinebaug Lake. The lake is an impoundment of Quinebaug Brook, also known as Quandock Brook, with depths reaching over 28 feet. Quinebaug Lake is designated as a bass and catfish management lake. A boat launch is located at the lake's northern extremity.
