The Quercy Phosphorites Formation is a geologic formation in France. It preserves fossils dating back to the Paleogene period. Its fossils, most of which are mammal bones, have been studied since the nineteenth century. It qualifies as a Lagerstätte because it also preserves the soft tissues of a few amphibians and a squamate, in addition to their articulated skeleton in what has been called natural mummies.
