Quercus gentryi is a Mexican species of oak in the beech family. It is native to western and northwestern Mexico, from Sonora south to Michoacán and east as far as Guanajuato.

Description

Quercus gentryi is a short evergreen tree up to 15 meters tall with a trunk as much as 50 cm in diameter. Leaves are thick and rigid, up to 18 cm long, with wavy edges but no teeth or lobes.
