Quasicrystal Research is a German documentary film directed by Alexander Tuschinski. It presents the research on Quasicrystals at University of Stuttgart. The film was selected to play during the Australian National Science Week in 2012, being shown in 400 venues around Australia during that time. It was the only film showing research at a European University there. Quasicrystal Research was officially released online in October 2011. At Oregon Independent Film Festival 2012, the film won the award "Best Documentary - Science".
Reception
A very objective, excellently photographed (...) industrial film of best tradition and quality.
