Qaedat al-Jihad (Arabic: Bases of Jihad) is a term used for a branch of al-Qaeda responsible for issuing press statements.

Statements were first issued under that name on 9 April 2002.

In 2008, a statement signed by Mustafa Abu al-Yazid claimed that a member of Qaedat al-Jihad was responsible for the 2008 Danish embassy bombing in Islamabad.

Qaedat Al-Jihad has also claimed responsibility for the July 18, 2012 bombing in Burgas, Bulgaria which claimed the lives of five Israeli tourists and one Bulgarian citizen.
