Pyropteron leucomelaena is a moth of the Sesiidae family. It is found in France, Spain, Portugal, Italy, the Balkan Peninsula and Ukraine. It is also found in North Africa and from Asia Minor to Armenia.
The larvae feed on Sanguisorba minor.
