Pylus (Ancient Greek: Πύλος) was a city in ancient Elis. It was situated near the confluence of the rivers Pineus and Ladon. It lay on the mountain road from Olympia to Elis, 80 stades (13 km) from Elis. It was already ruined when Pausanias visited the area in the 2nd century AD. The location of Pylus has been identified with the modern village of Agrapidochori.
