History

Launched in January 2016, PwC’s Talent Exchange is a response to the evolving workforce dynamic and ever-changing talent acquisition landscape, often referred to as a “gig economy”, that more and more companies are facing. PwC developed the platform in an attempt to circumvent the staffing agency and create a more direct, relationship-based experience for both internal PwC and external independent contractor and freelance worker.

"To meet fluctuating and skills specific demands of our clients in this new landscape, the Talent Exchange was created to find new ways to attract and collaborate with independent talent."

The Talent Exchange marketplace gives independent talent and freelancers direct access to PwC engagement teams, bypassing the traditional use of an Employment agency. The platform does not rely on these, third party, staffing agencies to identify and present talent to engagement managers. Instead, Talent Exchange members can create a profile, browse roles and express interest in projects that match their specific skills.
