Puywan (Ancash)

Puywan (Quechua for heart of an animal, hispanicized spelling Puyhuan) is a 4,980 metres (16,339 ft) high mountain in the Cordillera Blanca in the Andes of Peru. It is situated in the Ancash Region, Huari Province, ChavĂ­n de Huantar District. Puywan lies northwest of Waraqayuq, northeast of Yanarahu and southeast of Tuqtu.
