Puywan (Ancash)

Puywan (Quechua for heart of an animal, hispanicized spelling Puyhuan) is a 4,980 metres (16,339 ft) high mountain in the Cordillera Blanca in the Andes of Peru. It is situated in the Ancash Region, Huari Province, Chavín de Huantar District. Puywan lies northwest of Waraqayuq, northeast of Yanarahu and southeast of Tuqtu.
