Puck Collect is a robot competition where two autonomous mobile robots aim to collect small colored pucks randomly distributed in a square arena. Each robot starts from a square home base painted red or blue. The game lasts only couple of minutes, while the robots navigate in the arena and try to bring the pucks to their home bases. Pucks placed in home bases that are uncovered and unmoved are counted and collected by the referees.

The robots are allowed to use vision, other types of sensors, and typically employ a color sensor to distinguish among their own and their opponent's pucks. To achieve a good performance, robots need to use some form of localization. The competition pertains high diversity of solutions. Robots vary in designs, sensing, navigation and localization methods.
