Long title An Act to amend the provisions of the Public Health Act 1936, relating to building byelaws, to make such amendments of the law relating to public health and the functions of county councils and other local authorities as are commonly made in local Acts, to amend the law relating to trade effluents and to amend section two hundred and forty-nine of the said Act of 1936. Commencement 3 October 1961, except for the provisions of Part II relating to building regulations, which came into force on 1 February 1966. | ||
The Public Health Act 1961 (9 & 10 Eliz 2 c 64) is an Act of the Parliament of the United Kingdom. Together with certain other Acts, it amends and amplifies the Public Health Act 1936.
