Pseudophoenix vinifera (Cacheo, KatiƩ) is a palm species endemic to Hispaniola.
Pseudophoenix vinifera was used in the past of palm wine production. Trees were cut down and the pith extracted, especially from the swollen portion of the stem. Sap was extracted and fermented.
