Provincial Governors of Sri Lanka

The following is a list of incumbent governors of Sri Lanka. The governor is the head of the provincial government and exercises executive power in respect of subjects devolved to provincial councils. The governor is appointed by the President of Sri Lanka for a period of five years. There are a currently nine governors.
