Protowo [prɔˈtɔvɔ] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Rychliki, within Elbląg County, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, in northern Poland. It lies approximately 9 kilometres (6 mi) south-west of Rychliki, 18 km (11 mi) south of Elbląg, and 73 km (45 mi) west of the regional capital Olsztyn.
