The Proportional Representation League was an organization founded at the Memorial Art Institute of Chicago at the World's Columbian Exposition on August 10th-12th, 1893 to promote the cause of proportional representation within the United States. Their activities included distributing information to inquirers on the reform. Prominent members included Rhode Island Governor Lucius F. C. Garvin and federal judge Albert Branson Maris.
