Promenesta capnocoma is a moth in the Depressariidae family. It was described by Edward Meyrick in 1931. It is found in Brazil.

The wingspan is about 14 mm. The forewings are orange and the hindwings are whitish irrorated grey, and with the costal half pale ochreous yellowish.
