Projecturf (software) is a web-based project-management tool created by Rareview and launched in March, 2008. A later version of Projecturf, version 2.0, was a complete redesign and released to the public in May, 2010. The next major update, version 3.0, was released to the public in April 2011 and included a tab-based user interface along with several new features and enhancements.

Features

Projecturf employs a heavy emphasis on "clean" design and simplicity.

Projecturf provides task and subtask management, drag-and-drop event calendars, reporting, time tracking, budgeting, Gantt charts, issue tracking, file versioning, brand customization, custom permissions, contact groups, whiteboards, and specific features for web designers and developers such as code snippets and design approvals.

In terms of security, Projecturf uses 256-bit encrypted Secure Socket Layer (SSL) for all data transfers. Servers are hosted with Rackspace, a SAS 70 Type II-compliant datacenter.

An API is currently planned for release in 2012.
