Founded in 1933, the Professional Insurance Agents Association of Ohio, Inc. (PIA) is an independent insurance agents' organization in Ohio, United States.
PIA of Ohio represents approximately 1,300 independent insurance agencies across the state and their owners and employees, as well as more than 14,000 associate members who are customers of those agencies. Professional, independent insurance agents provide all types of insurance, including property and casualty, and life and health.
PIA is a provider of insurance continuing education and designation courses for insurance professionals.
PIA is a voice for agents and the industry in the area of public affairs, providing lobbying in the capitol and grassroots political organizing around the state.
Members of PIA of Ohio have access to benefits and resources, including management and technical assistance, business development programs and group insurance products.
