The Prizren-Timok dialect (Serbian: Призренско-тимочки дијалект/Prizrensko-timočki dijalekt) is, from general Yugoslav and Serbian scholarly point of view, one of the dialects of Serbian (and Serbo-Croatian), commonly called "Old-Serbian" (старосрпски/starosrpski), spoken in southeastern Serbia. Due to overlapping characteristics, Serbian and Bulgarian linguists also recognise the Prizren-Timok dialect and the Transitional Bulgarian dialects as transitional, known as Torlak dialect. It has many sub-dialects(narečja), which may vary greatly in relation to each other.
